meet Rio, the happy coffee. 

if you don’t already know, i work as a barista & event manager for a living. coffee brought a whole new meaning ever since i started in this F&B industry 7 years ago. It’s more than a pick-me-up; it’s a culture & lifestyle that has taught me so much of who i want to be & how to make beautiful situations come out of really tough ones - just like the roasting & extraction of coffee beans. 

it took me a while to actually make him come to life because there are so many coffee pins out there & I worried how Rio would be different. But this story sets him apart.

i decided to name him Rio too, because during the stay-home period, i binged watched all of Money Heist & felt Rio’s name to be fitting for this lil’ guy, since Brazil happens to be my favourite country of origin for coffee beans 🇧🇷 i’d love to visit it someday.
